i am a very competitive softball player and i play year round. my last glove, a nike venom, was poorly broken in and i needed a new one. i got this glove after all stars season, with hopes to use it by spring. it requires A LOT of breaking in. it was incredibly stiff when i purchased it. ever since i broke it in, i love it. the only cons are that it requires a long, extensive, break in period, and you have to know how to catch in order to use it. it hurts a lot when you catch a ball on the palm, so catch it in the web. like all middle infielder gloves, the trap web helps get the ball out quickly, giving you time to make plays. oil this glove well and take really good care of it. it's the best a glove can get!
