This is our second Express shoulder wrap, the 1st one lasted almost 2 years. The velcro wore out on the first one which made it hard to stay on, but otherwise, durable. We find it perfect for the job--a 20 min. ice/cool down after practice or game for pitchers. I don't like the hassle of bringing or trying to find ice at games. I pack this in a small cooler with a cold pack & it is cold for after the game. At home, it is always in the freezer and ready to put on.

It is great to have all together. Only draw back is keeping it frozen when at ball park especially tournaments and your not going home

Daughter is a competitive softball pitcher. I froze the product in the deep freeze. I rolled it and wrapped it tightly in a plastic bag. I then buried it in a cooler under about 10 lbs of ice. At the end of the day (about 8 hours), most of the ice was still frozen (very little water in cooler) but the shoulder wrap was a sopping wet mess! There were some frozen spots, but it was so wet that it wasn't usable. I tried a second time with a smaller cooler dedicated to only the wrap treated in the same manner and got the same result. Dry ice isn't an option for us, so I guess we'll keep it and use it when she has pitching practice or pitches locally. Traveling and trying to keep it frozen for any amount of time with wet ice isn't going to work.
