My son is a first baseman for his highschool team. He will also be playing college ball next season for his future university team, so his equipment is very important to him. This mitt replaced a worn out mitt. The new mitt, after 2 weeks of daily play, has started "holding onto the ball" too much, meaning the ball is sticking in the webbing, making for a difficult catch/throw transition. I now need to purchase a different mitt.

I really liked the glove when i got it. At my first High School practice of the season a team mate told me that the ball would eventually go through the web in the back. After i couple months the ball started to get stuck then it would go through the back. I tightened the web on the back and then it was good for about a week then the ball would go through again

i have had this glove for about two weeks and it was already broken in perfectly broken in atthe store and you cant even feel the ball when it hits the glove. your hand doesnt not hurt from any throw and it is great glove for the money!
