I buy these belts for my son, a youth baseball player. He has several that he's worn for years because of the adjustable waist. Also, this size (1 1/4") is the only size I've found to fit the belt loops of youth baseball pants. The local sporting goods stores, don't carry this size.

The belt is fine, but be sure to check the width of 1 1/4" which is a little more narrow than we were used to with our previous belts...my mistake.

The belts that you get at Academy or other sports stores are too wide that they're difficult to fit through the belt loops on the baseball pants. But this belt fit very easily through the belt loops. One less thing for moms to have to stress over!

for this belt when they say youth the mean a waist size that is typically found with 3rd graders and younger. This is for very tiny wastes. 4th graders and older should get the adult belt.
