Comments about Anderson Bat Co. Anderson 2010 Nanotek -10 ASA Fastpitch Softball Bat:
I bought this bat for my wife. She likes a balanced bat and the Nanotek has been great. This bat swings very balanced and has worked well for slowpitch and fastpitch ball. It really doesn't need any break in time. Pop was great right out of the wrapper. If you like an endload, try a Rocketech, but if a balanced bat suits your swing, the Nanotek will make you very happy!

Comments about Anderson Bat Co. Anderson 2010 Nanotek -10 ASA Fastpitch Softball Bat:
The Anderson delivers the goods. We compared to a hot bat and this one had equal pop out of the wrapper. Good sound. End knob is tiny which allows for full swings for those who grip low. The sweet spot is exactly the Gray Painted area. However, contact at either end still has live pop too. The big draw back is the weight is in the sweet spot. Meaning for those players breaking into this weight and length of a bat this will affect the players swing until they get use to the odd weight placement. Once they do the ball flight is great. We felt the bat runs a little heavier than listed but have not weighed it yet.

Comments about Anderson Bat Co. Anderson 2010 Nanotek -10 ASA Fastpitch Softball Bat:
Great sweet spot. Solid feel. Nice sound at contact. I joked with my father the first time using my new bat that I was going to hit a home run... and did. The only drawback is that it's hard to find a similar bat for batting cages because the bat is pretty narrow near the grip.

Comments about Anderson Bat Co. Anderson 2010 Nanotek -10 ASA Fastpitch Softball Bat:
The bat is an average bat. Its not worth the [$] I paid. It has the same pop as the easton 777 the only difference is the 777 makes a "ting sound" and the rocket tech does not. When buying a rocket tech I was looking for the pop of the 2004 rocket tech. They have yet to reproduce that kind of pop in a bat. I would wait untill the bat comes down in price to about 150...

Comments about Anderson Bat Co. Anderson 2010 Nanotek -10 ASA Fastpitch Softball Bat:
Awseome POP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Returned bat twice in 25 days to Anderson Bats with great customer service.
1st time: Hot Glue particles in bat rolling around made a rattle type sound. Repaired bat.
2nd time: Paint was peeling off the barrell which could have made it deemed an altered bat. Bat replaced.
I hope we got a good one this time with the awesome pop the other bat had! DD loves it, she was swinging a Rocket Tech before.

Comments about Anderson Bat Co. Anderson 2010 Nanotek -10 ASA Fastpitch Softball Bat:
Living in a cold weather area, and after moving from California, the Easton bats don't seem to fare well in low temps. My HS daughter has blown the end cap off of one Stealth and another has a dead sweet spot. The NanoTek doesn't have that metallic "ping" of other Anderson bats and delivers a nice "crack" when you get ahold of one. The sweet spot probably isn't quite as big as the composite bats, but the ball jumps when you hit it. The handle seems a little wider, but it is mostly due to a great grip tape that Anderson uses. Really great bat control with it. I thought my daughter would get blisters from it with the texture, but she loves it. The end knob is smaller than other bats and takes some getting used to. This bat rocks the ball, is well-balanced for an Anderson, and seems very well built. The paint job looks a little more hardy than the RocketTech, too. You can't beat that warranty by Anderson that gives you 30 days to try it and return it if you don't like it for full price. That was what enticed us to try it out. My daughter has been an Easton believer for years - but I think she is going to hang on to the NanoTek for her senior year.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
