Great as a step up from hitting off a tee, but without needing a partner/coach to do the tossing. Plus, the machine tosses the balls more consistently than some coaches!!

My three kids use the heck out of this machine at home and then I use the heck out of it while coaching all three of their teams. Naturally great for hitting but also functional for fielding, especially with conditioning catchers. Wish I would have bought it years ago. To say it is worth the money is an understatement. Solidly built, portable, adjustable, versatile and easy to use. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Use it coaching softball (club & high school) and it's easy enough for the girls to use it on their own. Height adjustment easily covers their strike zone and the different pitch intervals provide some good fun.
I also use it for my baseball league (18+) and can transition between softball and baseball without ANY adjustment.
No motor to burn out, only an electromagnet and some basic levers (for ball feeding) so I'm very confident that this will last a long time. Feels solidly built.
Small enough for me to fit in the trunk of my 02 Civic with plenty of room to spare. Convenient handle and wheels and light enough to pick up.
