I gave these batting gloves to my granddaughter - she is the competitive athlete. I coach competitive softball. These gloves break down quicker than the previous (VRS PRO II) grey gloves. They feel OK and perform OK for as long as they last, but they last about half as long as previous models.

I broke my thumb last year and wanted a little extra padding for comfort while batting. These gloves are exactly what I was looking for. Only thing I would recommend is that you order a size larger than you normally wear, seems a little small.

If properly fitted, great batting glove. Construction appears good. Women's small was too tight for my 11 y.o. granddaughter, although womens' small in the two-pack batting gloves fit her well. The padded palm is helpful in reducing vibration which caused her pain in a healing finger fracture. Would recommend this style glove over the two-pack, for durability and cushioning.
