As my boys get older and throw harder, dad (me) was getting more bruises on his legs and diving out of the way of balls as we work on pitching. So I bought this catchers gear. Fits great, looks great (even on a dad) and protects well. If I would have had this quality of gear when I was in little league, I may never have moved away from catching!

I am 43 yrs. old and have caught all my life and this is the best equipment I have used for the price I paid...the chest protector is great for blocking pitches in the dirt don't feel a thing when the ball hits it the face mask is very well constructed with good vision through it and easily comes off and on...shin gaurds provide protection above the knee almost mid thigh which I like a lot...the only thing I don't like is there is a strap that goes behind the knee which after a while will start to rub you a little raw

This is a great set of catcher's gear for the price. We are a youth travel ball team and because of our age bracket, we have several different sized kids. This set is for our bigger kids which works well. The only draw back is buying gear as a set, we got an adult helmet which for now is too big. Other than that, I have no complaints and the kids really like the gear.

i only wish my son's old mask didn't still fit him so he would use this sturdier one, but he just LOVES his old one and won't part with it right now, other than that this is great stuff and the price was right...

I use this gear in a 38 and older league. Offers excellent protection and the price was the best I found.

Bought this set for my 13 year old son who plays competitive baseball. He has been a catcher since he was 6 and we have owned several sets of catchers gear...I must say this is one of the better sets we've owned. It fits well, adjusts good and the quality for the price is great!

I am going to use the gear just about everyday. I just received my second set of the tpx gear because i loved it so much the last few years i have used it it was just time to get a new set. I love the gear, incredibly solid gear, i barely feel anything if at all when i stop a ball. The custom fitting helmet and gear is great for any type of player at any level. The only gear i wear or want to wear.
