My boy is an average size 7 year old boy and it fit him a bit big but will grow into it. Cant complain much because of the price and what you get with it. It is good for a catcher who is just beginning and dont want to spend too much money, However it would have been nice if a carrying bag was included.

My son is playing competive baaseball and not only is this a great looking product it provides the proper protection for kids in this age group. The only thing that I would request is better explanation of how to attach the knee savers, having never used them before it took a little trial and error to get them attached properly.

My son used this all summer in 8U tournaments and it worked great. After researching all the catcher's gear available, I was skeptical at first because the price was so low. Don't let the low price fool you. The low price is not an indicator of the quality of this catcher's set. This is an outstanding set of equipment. It even passed the approval of my friends who caught in the minors.
Everything fits perfectly on my son and the other player who used it, who is smaller than my son.

My only real concern was that the top snap on the back of the helmet came undone several times in the first games he used it. We were able to remedy this by adjusting the two bottom straps and taking the tension off the top strap.
The other problem we have with it is that we can't get him to take it off. I think he'd sleep in it if I allowed him.

He loves his All Star catcher's gear and gets excited every time he sees a player on TV or in our local Minor league team wearing a similar set.

I am very pleased with this set of equipment. It fits my 7 yr old well with room to grow. I was concerned about shinguards being more bendable than what I'm used to, but they have held up well through travel ball so far. It is well worth the money.

Bought this for my 7 year old who wanted his own set after he fell in love with the position. This is a rock solid value and the equipment is great. The helmet and mask are excellent...a couple of fouls were direct hits and he didn't even flinch!
