I coach a highly competitive AAU Diamond Division team in New England--my team uses these balls for one simple reason, they're the best quality for the price you can get. Manufacturers only make one or two "types" of baseballs for each level (T-ball, youth, high school, college and pro). For youth baseball the DOL-A is the "identical" ball as the DLL for Little League or DSLL for Sr. LL, the DCR for Call Ripken, the DBR for Babe Ruth, and the DPL for Pony League. The ONLY difference (other than price) is the stamp of the program for which it was labeled. This is simply to market and license a ball for a specific program. The next level of baseballs is for High School and college, which simply uses a higher quality material (more or better grade of wool and/or higher quality leather cover). With better materials comes better feel and performance, but with a much higher price tag. If you want a high quality baseball for any player below the college ranks, you won't get a better ball/deal than the Diamond DOL-A. It's a tournament grade baseball from Little League (Ripken, Babe Ruth, Pony, etc.) through High School. You can spend more money, but you won't get any more baseball for you buck. If the stamp on the ball doesn't matter to you or your program, get the cheapest version of this "type" of ball you can get (DLL, DSLL, DCR, DPL).

Comments about Diamond Bucket with DOLA Baseballs (30 Balls):

Diamond baseballs are a good quality and reasonably priced ball. I recommend buying a cork center ball....feel and perform truer than a rubber or rubber/cork center ball. Used these for games and then practice and hold up well.

These are really nice balls, much better than some of the other balls I've purchased over the years. Price was right including the bucket.
So far I have no complaints at all, the balls are well worth the money.

These balls were used by my oldest son's team and that's why I decided to try them for my younger son's team. They're really goo and hold up very well. We use them three to four days a week every week. I would definately buy them again.
