The NP series offers additional protection at an affordable price. All NP pad feature 3/4" main body cushion and 3/4" removable channels for maximum protection.

Shell design combines excellent protection without sacrificing mobility.
Hitting flaps are free moving to provide unrestricted arm shoulder motion.

This pad didn't sit right on my shoulders. I wanted something that sat lower and gave me great range of motion. This wasn't the one I was looking for. It is lightweight, but it didn't even last a full series in practice.

Don't get me wrong, this is an excellent pad. Having said that, it seems the only real difference between the DPQB and the NPQB are four removable pads. Personally, I took them out because they made the shoulder pad sit too high. So save yourself $70 bucks and just get the DPQB.
