Very dissapointed. :( It broke half way through my season and I only used it during games. It looks nice, large sweet spot, I like it a bit top heavy, and it had good pop until it broke. I can see why its so cheap now..

All Easton bats have good pop. My son uses the 2011 and the 2012 Surge bats. He uses this bat for practice and a backup bat. The 2012 bat he uses during games, but recently cracked it. He is currently using the Easton S2 bat and said it is performing well.

I have no idea why other people have complaints. First time hitting in the cage the ball came smoking off the bat! Im only 5'5 210 and I was dropping bombs. I hit a 400' fence with this monster. The bat's stiff flex gives you assurance of a good hit. It flexes and feels great when you get a solid hit. Nothing but good things to say about it. Just broke it in and is ready for some tryouts! Can't wait!

Rings inside cam loose after first week and rattled inside bat-Easton did take back but we are still waiting for the repalcement to come in
They no longer repalce with the surge-think they said the XL-2

Great bat. I owned the besr exo and I noticed the ball flies a lot better off this. The sound is to be expected that's how all the bbcor bats are. Wish I had this last year!.senior year here we come!

Returned bat to Easton under warranty for what was to be a replacement with newest model-but, bat was "repaired" rather than replaced. Turnaround was quick, though. We'll see how it holds up. Newest model, which I didn't get,is made from scandium rather than aluminum and is supposed to be more durable and have more "pop," according to Easton representative.

I just baught this bat over the Easton Reflex. Not sure I made a good choice. I think I should have saved some money and gone with the Reflex. It swings well balanced. It sounds like a wooden bat. If you like that, it's great! Don't expect it to sound cool. I have yet to use it in a game so the jury is still out on that.

I got this bat and after three times in cage it began to rattle, and the grip is very thick and makes the bat feel heavy, but that can be fixed with replacing the grip with athletic tape. This bat is fine, but not [$], even my highschool coach noticed that ever since i got this the ball is not coming off the bat as fast. I have switched back to my marruci cat 5, which i now know is the best bbcor you can buy.
