This is a good ball for our purposes. We use it for intramural softball where we need limited flight. It works well for us but it would be nice if the seams did not break so easily.

The Easton Incrediball is an excellent softball to use for indoor practices. We use this in a basketball gym to work fielding and situational defense. The ball plays close to normal -a little bit bouncy because of the soft core. The ball doesn't damage the hardwood floors in the gym nor the walls, etc. I wouldn't, however, recommend using it for indoor batting practice without a cage. The ball is hard enough that if hit off of the bat, it could break surrounding items.
