I bought these for my daughter to use in batting practice. Her swing and hitting showed immediate improvement, so she wore them for games also. They do improve your bat grip, however they are not built to last. They began splitting down the fingers and palms after about 6 weeks. The benefits outweigh the bad, so I have purchased 2 more pairs for her.

Fold up velcro makes it hard to wear with fielders glove but excellent for hitting. Padding is great and leather held up fall & Spring season. Still use old pair for hitting lessons.
