I had been looking at this glove for some time for a gift for my son who made the HS team and would be one of only three freshmen on the team and the only freshman pitcher. I wanted him to have a nice glove that was easy to break in. This glove has had great reviews and when it went on sale I jumped on it. This is a great looking glove and I'm sure a high quality glove, but he can't get it on his hand, way small. I got a great deal so I decided to keep it for a friend who has a younger kid playing ball. [...]

I bought this glove for my son a couple of years ago. He used it for JV, Varsity, and on a traveling team for at least 2 years, maybe 3. He has probably played in at least 60 games with this glove. I rated the only con for durability, because he wore this glove out. I don't know how much use or how long the typical high school player can keep a glove; 3 years may be exceptional performance. He tried on other brands, some as high as $300, but he asked me to get him the same glove to finish his last two seasons of high school ball. He made 1st team, All district as a sophomore pitcher wearing this glove.

Purchased for 12 year old travel baseball middle infielder. He started using it in games within the 1st week. He loves it and is playing great.

Having coached at the High School level in Texas for more than 20 yrs, I definitely recommend the Omaha Series gloves. My infielders have consistently used this series for a number of years. I'm not saying this is the reason, but my teams have been in the playoffs 17 times out of the last 20 years. I do believe though that this glove has made a difference. I have my son, who is a sr in HS, using it as well. It is his second Omaha.
