This is the second pro preferred I've owned...(buddies dog chewed up the other one). Break in is tough...with the second glove I did the steaming offered from baseball express and that helped dramatically, not only with the amount of time spent breaking it in but I feel like the made it mold to my hand better than without. The quality of leather is unbeatable, the support in the thumb and pinky is exceptional. The glove retains it's shape, stays stiff and molds to your hand better than any glove I've ever owned. The pocket was deeper than I expected or was used to, however; the ball doesn't get hung up in it at all making transfers seamless. All and all if you keep it away from troublesome dogs it is worth every penny and the time it takes to break it in....great glove

Probably the best rawlings gloves out there really easy to break in and retains shape EXTREMELY well i would personally recommend this glove to anyone that is looking for a long lasting glove that not only gets the job done but looks very stylish

I'm a competitive travel ball shortstop/2nd base.
After three straight years of three straight gloves my batting coach who played pro ball told me to invest in a pro preferred. After a long break in process this off season it was ready to go and after the first half of the year it remains its shape and still feels great. Very pleased

I'm a third basemen at a competitive high school and have had this glove for two years it maintains its shape and breaks in but doesn't get "floppy" overall great glove

this glove is for the mature player especially a player in jr high or high school it will not dissapoint

i use this glove for shortstop and it's a great glove really comfortable and great look and the shape of the fingers stay firm
the only bad thing is that i doesn't come with 2 of them together
