Rawlings Vapor Low Profile White-to-Color Batting Helmet
The white base to color is exclusive to baseball express and gives you the most up to date look. Pro Dri® lining and vents keeps your head cool and takes sweat out of the helmet. High impact ABS shell. NOCSAE approved.

We purchased this helmet for our select 10u team last spring when they first came out and our boys love them here in the 100+ degree Texas heat. We are getting ready for our fall season and asked them if they wanted to change helmets, and got a resounding NO from all of them. We've had several players take hard hits from baseballs to their helmets and so far no injuries or cracks. On getting right size, we measured each boy's head with a tailor's cloth tape, converted that to hat size, and used Rawlings sizing chart. All fit perfectly. Don't just guess at their size, measure!

I have 14u travel softball team in SF bay area, purchased this helmet for team, and at least half have problem with helmet fit, purchased correct size, but helmet bobbles on head. To fix would have to raise helmet on front side with padding or cap, which then raises face guard above chin, causing saftey problem for girl that turns into pitch. Also, some of these factors don't become apparent until used on the field, at which point you can't return. It is difficult to get whole team down to try helmet on even locally, haven't had issues like this in 10 years of softball. So try these on before buying or better yet for girls fastpitch softball buy tradional helmet, not low profile --from my experiance.

We purchased some small and Med helmets for our team. I had read the earlier comments that this helmet did not fit very well. The comments were correct. Both the small & med were too big for my 8 year old. I also had my 12 year old try them on. The small was too small, and the Med was too big. We figured one size would have worked, but they were both duds. Nice helmet but the sizing is way off. I will stick to a OSFA for now on..

Reds are a really hard color to match. This scarlet has an almost "orange" tint to it. We LOVE this helmet. If the color was red, red, it would be perfect.
