I wrote the previous comment regarding how my SSK literally exploded on my 25th or so swing. I e-mailed the company, and they actually sent me a new bat. Because the bat exploded, it revealed that there was bad slope of grain (hence the ink dot). The ink dot on my old SSK looked like it wasn't done properly and just sent out for purchase anyway. Bats w/ good slope of grain fracture at the handle. Nonetheless, a new bat was sent to me, and it's treated me very well. It's VERY light for having such a thick barrel and handle. It's also quite durable with about a 1.75'' sweet spot. I use a cow femur bone to rub out the baseball dent marks on the bat. It also hardens the wood. It's held up well after about 500 swings. So to make a long story short, I got a dud the first time and was compensated with a real gamer bat.

I purchased this bat in the beginning of this month. I really expected this product to last. My friends and I have been playing homerun derby with wood bats for over 10 years, throwing batting practice-speed pitches at the most. The first day I used it the ball flew off the bat, but after about 25 swings, the bat flew off the ball. I hit a ball just beyond the sweet spot. The barrel of the bat flew about 125 feet into left field. I've been using wood bats avidly for over 15 years, and I've never been so disappointed spending 100 dollars for a bat that breaks after 25 swings. Don't buy this bat.

I'd highly suggest buying a cheap louisville slugger ash pro stock. It costs half the price, is decently balanced with good pop, and will last literally 100 times longer than this bat. I've had it for over 5 years and it's been the most durable bat I've ever owned.
