The unique Energy Block Transfer System does exactly what it sounds like: when a player is hit, the vented Energy Blocks take the force of the impact and disperse it over a much wider area. Much less force from the hit is actually felt by the player.

To maximize air flow and circulate more air around your body, the arch features 5mm vapor ventilation holes throughout. More air movement means you'll be cooler and drier.
Brock Air Circulation
The patented Brock Beaded Quilt not only evaporates sweat faster, if focuses air circulation - pushing the cool air in closer to your body - while the hot air is pushed out. Each model also features 5mm vent holes that keep the air flowing around you body.

Interior Cushioning
Brock High Impact sheet foam forms the core of protection for the Extreme Flex. Covered on the outside by Dri-Lex® Aerospacer 100 fabric for maximum air flow, the Brock High Impact foam features a bold new energy block system on the inside. Each energy transfer block features 5mm vent holes for maximum air circulation, is perforated for maximum flexibility and the Energy Block Transfer system spreads the force of each hit across a wider area. Plus, the small channel between each energy block also helps maximize air flow within the pad and under your jersey - keeping you cooler and drier than other shoulder pads.
Raised Corrugations
Raised corrugations in the design make the pad stronger while 5mm holes in both the arch and throughout the pad help to circulate air around you body, keeping you cooler.
