Since I tried a Taper, I've bought them for all my bats. It helps my grip. I use it with an Easton ring on the knob as well. It improves the comfort of the grip and helps me grip the bat with the knob in the palm of my hand. I hate playing in tournaments where these grip-items aren't allowed.

the way I grip my bat causes some of my fingers to rub raw. I used to have to tape them before every game. ever since I've gotten this taper, I can swing all day and my fingers are fine. I also believe it adds a bit more wrist snap from the point of contact to my follow through. the only aspect I don't like is the difficulty in getting it over the bat knob.
