This mask is much better than most. Like all it causes your face to sweat more than when not wearing one and after 3-4 games in one day w/it on you can get acne where the mask touches your skin. It provides ear protection unlike other masks that are bulkier and harder to see out of. You can see in all directions and it is a lighter weight and much more comfortable fit. Very durable and will keep even a fast ball from getting to the front or side of your face/head.

It's great! Confident that my daughter is protected; she plays infield so the mask helps her keep her head down, ready for grounders and line drives. The only problem is the chin pad; it keeps ungluing. I've tried products to glue it back, but it keeps coming off. Rip it needs to work on this.

After watching a young lady get hit in the face with a hit softball, I insisted that my daughter wear a mask while pitching and playing third base. I had her wear it just playing in the yard and just hanging around so she could get use to it. It did not impede her pitching or playing the ball on her base. We have witnessed two girls getting hit and watched them get carted off in an ambulance. We also know someone who had the mask on and the impact from the ball hitting her mask her sunglass lens popped from her face. That mask may have saved her from a concussion or worse.
