This product is used as a slider short for softball. The fit is great, the comfort is wonderful. The protection is average only because the leg fit is too loose so when worn with shorts they ride up during sliding eliminating the protection and allowing abraisions to occur. worn with pants however they are thin enough to not feel bulky and thick enough to protect the thighs.

For a sliding short we thought there would be a little more cushion in the sliding areas. They did protect the skin from field rash on the slide but did feel a little more padding was needed.

These work great for sports. They are currently used for baseball and allow movement.

The only slider shorts my daughter will wear. I only wash them, and let them drip dry but they are long-lasting. They aren't over-padded and bulky but still are affective to protect her when sliding. They fit true to size she orders a lg so they are big, and wears a jr size 9 and is 5'4. We have hot pink, silver and gold. She wears them low on waist and they don't ride up on you. Very comfortable and not itchy.

These "sliders" came in great colors which is why I ordered them in both pink and orange, but the so called extra layer of material for "protection" is barely detectable. These are not true sliders.

The shorts came very quickly but like all the others I was very dissatisfied with the #1 how short they were and #2 little to no padding... How do you have sliders with no padding???? Very cute, if you want to wear them under shorts, that are "breezy" this is the only use I can see them for.

My daughter wears only these sliders now. They don't come up as high as most sliders and are more comfortable while still providing protection. And she loves the bright colors.
