I bought this bag for my 11 year old daughter who is the catcher on her fastpitch team. It holds all her catcher's gear plus her batting helmet, regular fielding glove and bat. The backpack straps make it easy for her to carry it all to the field. This a a great bag for any young player--not too big, not too small, all for a good price.
