Every serious player needs to develop one handed skills. Although you can choke up on your curent bat these are more comfortable. This size is what is most common for use at the 12 to 16 Y/O level. Handle portion comes unfinished and needs some linseed oil or other product for protection and grip.

I was not sure how my son would react to this short bat. I was happy to see that not only was he open to using but that he uses it everyday and it has increased performance dramatically.
