I know this sounds crazy but I live in the mountains of NC. I have several 45 degree hills that I'm trying to get ground cover growing on. When I would climb up to weed I kept slipping. Mountain boots wouldn't keep me from falling and sliding. The cleats work well and let me get the job done. However my foot is wide and hopefully I'll get them "broke in" soon.
