I am a former player who now coaches little league. This is a great coach's shoe as I spend a lot of time on the field showing by example. It was comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide foot (E) and these fit just fine. I have also owned turf shoes made by Adidas and Nike and these are my favorite.

This shoe definitely filled the need for my softball activities. I play the outfield and it has provided a great grip even on wet grass. Very comfortable on the hard infields when running the bases. It gives extra support of the ankle. The shoe is slightly heavy but that is OK since the comfort and grip minimize this.
