Absolutely incredible glove. Trust me, this glove is worth every penny. The quality of leather of the Rawlings Pro Prefered series is second to none. There is no feel like a rawlings glove; it forms perfectly to your hand and is very comfortable. This glove is made to take a beating so it is incredibly durable. The pocket is very shallow which is perfect for a Shortstop or Second baseman so that you can have a quick transfer on a double play. I know the price is up there but it is well worth it and you will not need another glove for a few years. I've used this glove for about two years which is about six seasons year round including off-season games and practices every day. This glove is truly Amazing and still looks new. I got this glove for my 16th birthday and it is amazing. You can't go wrong with Rawlings and you really can't go wrong with a Pro Preferred. It didn't take as long to break in as I expected. It will take about a month and a half... but if you throw with it a lot and catch the ball in the correct spot this glove is perfect. Thought about getting an A2K but I decided with Rawlings and dont regret it. Worth the money... buy it

Good glove but now has small tear. Bought in 2009. Tear has shown up between where web and palm of glove is sewn together. Not something that is easlity fixed & Rawlings said nothing they can do about it.

My son uses the glove for senior men's summer baseball league and he'll use it to play in college during next season. Great glove!

These gloves are made to be used EVERYDAY. THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE HARD TO BREAK IN!. that is what makes them great they are durable and don't get floppy to quickly.

Love this glove. Bought my first one in about '01, used it through high school and college, somewhere between 500-700 games before it finally started tearing on the inside where the fingers go. Only restrung the top once. Decided it was time for a new glove and after shopping the market for everything available just decided nothing really compared to this model and bought my second one. Slight changes in where in the logos are placed, but same great quality and leather. Fantastic glove for the serious player but be prepared for the long break in time.
