The glove was bought for my 9 y/o. The glove needed little break-in and is extremely comfortable. He has used it only a few times and the glove seems to be very high quality. If your catcher has very small hands I would buy a smaller size otherwise this is the glove to get. We are very happy with the purchase and have since bought other items. He would have liked a little more padding in the palm but that is the only con if you can even call it that.

I purchased this mitt for my daughter who plays both softball and baseball. The pocket is entirely too small for softball, even the smaller sized balls used in the younger leagues. If you need a good mitt for young baseball players, this is it but not for softball.
