Virtually no break in time-ready to use. I do find that the web strings snap and break rather easily. Great glove for the recreational player, but for someone like me, who plays year round, not very durable

Comfortable fit, good design. Materials in general are ave. except for the thin laces that close off the heel of the glove. They snapped when trying to tighten them as they had stretched after use. Might have been defective as it probably took less than 25 lbs. of pressure. On the other hand, laces used for the webbing and to secure the fingers were "better" than ave. at a shade under 1/4" wide and thick. Could probably withstand over 70 lbs. of pressure.
