The Easton Incrediball is an excellent softball to use for indoor practices. We use this in a basketball gym to work fielding and situational defense. The ball plays close to normal -a little bit bouncy because of the soft core. The ball doesn't damage the hardwood floors in the gym nor the walls, etc. I wouldn't, however, recommend using it for indoor batting practice without a cage. The ball is hard enough that if hit off of the bat, it could break surrounding items.
