Base is sturdy and the ability to move the tee enables use with the more advanced hitter. Brush top of tee is nothing special and will wear as is the case with all tees.

The new design of the top/ball seat is ineffective. After a few weeks of use, it came clean off. I screwed it back in with a metal screw and it held until the end of the season last year. With 1 use this season it is already out of commission. Love everything else about it, just change the top!!

Purchased in March and now replacing in May. The rubber used to make this is not durable. We started having break down issues almost immediantly. The top bristles broke and the base broke apart soon after. I thought it would at least last a season.

Rubber tips broke off during each use. After 5th use, all rubber tips were completely broken off, so tee would no longer hold ball.

Bought 3 tee's for the local HS team preparing for the upcoming season. Every tee broke on first use. The rubber tips of the tee that hold the ball in place were easily torn off. Would not recommed this for players over 10 years old.

The 1957 batting tee works great. But after a year in our travel softball program, the ball holder needs to be replaced and I can't find anywhere online where I can get them. It nicely screws off to be replaced but if you can't get the replacement part what good is that?
