Very useful for in a gym or indoor facility. Adult pitches to young players. Ball has a tendency to curve when pitching windmill. Players learn how to get out of the way and hit a rise ball or drop.

We use the lite flites during winter indoor batting practice with a regular Jugs machine. The machine is a little tough on the balls, but they held up thru 4-5 sessions with a dozen girls.

I purchased the Jugs Lite Flight pitching machine and softballs in order to improve our girl's hitting abilities. The machine and balls worked great as a practice devise during the off season winter months in the gym. The girls definitly improved their line drive hitting abilities. The only problem was getting everyone to go home after the machine came out, making for some late school nights.
