The Youth XL is a comfortable fit for my son's 32" waist and the pants are loose enough to be comfortable, but not so loose as to be sloppy. He likes to wear the pants pushed to his knees, men's pants look ridiculous as they are so long, these look just right.It is hard to find pants for a bigger kid, and these are by far the best we have found! Men's pants are way to big in the seat and in the length and most youth pants are too small in the waist (or in some cases, too slim in hips and legs too) for my larger-than-average child.

We order these pants (different colors) for our little league teams every season. Overall we like the quality. For the price you can't find a better deal. However our experience has shown that you will have sizing issues with one or two pants in your order. I wish it was that they ran smaller or bigger. But in our most recent order we had to go through 3 pants of the same size to find one to.fit a player. But like I said we order these every season so we're use to it. We just order a couple extra and find ones that fit and keep the extras for future use.

I was worried about material but they are great. They wash great and are good pants. I ordered for our team and some small were the same size as xs and some xs were same size as small. We purchased these pants and had them hemmed to use as short pants just below the knee. Great pant for price!

The snaps are breaking off of a majority of our kids' pants on our baseball team this year. We have ordered the same pants for several years and this is the first time we've ever had trouble with them! These are usually great and wear well for a full season. It appears as though the inner part of the snap is rusted and the whole snap just falls apart. Bad batch of snaps? Seven of our kids now have pants without snaps! Thank goodness for good belts! It is disappointing as these are usually great pants!

11yr old travel ball player that mostly catches. He likes wearing them "old school". For the price you just can't beat these pants. Great wide waist band with large belt loops (easy to get wide belts in and out).

The looks are big league, but they were way undersized according to their chart. The snaps ripped out of the pants before my little league son had a chance to use them. A very big disappointment.

The pants are great quality! The only downside to this is that the belt loops are pretty small for the metal part of the belt to go through. Makes putting the belt on a little difficult. Other than that the pants are perfect
