When I saw that it was a "blem" version of a $50+ per dozen ball, I figured I would jump on it to have good practice balls, with a few set aside as emergency game balls. Well, when I saw that they had their own product number, I started to wonder. I feel it is an excellent practice ball, and a well built baseball. The cover seems to have some sort of coating on it, so it is quite slick. Not suitable for games, but then again it is advertised as a practice ball, so it more than meets expectations in that regard. Highly recommended for that purpose! The bucket's a nice touch...makes short toss much easier!

I bought these because we needed league balls and Baseball Express was OUT of "real" baseballs (go figure). Disappointing purchase. I threw them away after we saw how slippery they were. Nearly useless, all they were good for was soft toss.

You have to look real hard to find the "blemishes"! These balls are perfect for youth baseball - so order a ton of them and never be short of baseballs for practice because of cost.
