This glove is a great addition to any catcher in a competitive baseball league. My son kept getting huge bruises on his hand as a catcher, this glove has eleviated the issue.

Bought for my son who is getting into more competitive baseball travel games. The pitchers are throwing harder and he's a catcher. He needed
some protection under the glove to prevent bruising. It worked perfect.
He used to just wear a regular batting glove, but the padding wasn't enough or in the right area.
This glove helps him to still feel the mitt and be flexible.

i use it under my firstbase and regular gloves.great protection for your hand to stop ball sting. i would recommed it to all position if needed. not just for catchers. nothing bad about it.

My son was having pain in his index finger on his catching hand - this glove was recommended and he has been pain free since the first day he used it. This is definitely a product we will purchase again. Purchased the same size as his batting gloves and it fits perfectly - he was concerned that it would be stiff and hard to break in but this was not the case.

My son likes to work on his pitching and unfortunately for me, I sometimes get to be his catcher. He is no longer 8 years old so catching his pitches can be a bit painful. The palmgard keeps my hand protected. Long live the Palmgard!

after a tendon injury in my thumb last year I needed something to give me a little cushion. As a catcher, it really makes a difference especially when a lefty's fast ball has some bite to it! I'd recommend this to all.

I purchased the glove after the original palmguard my daughter was using fell apart. She loves it and even uses it when running the bases, helps protect her hand when she steals and slides, she has not been thrown out stealing yet this year. She plays on the local high school varisity team as the courtsey runner and DP. This was submitted by her very proud father.

well i play first base for my high school and all the girls throw really hard . all my fingers are bruised and i looked at this product it looked perfect . but im left handed and they dont make it for the right hand ?

Takes sting away. If you play more than 1 position, you dont need more than 1 mitt. You can use your fielders glove even for 1st base with this palmguard glove underneath. Also good batting glove, especially for bats with thin handle.

My daughter catches about 60 games in a summer and 25 games in H.S. season. She catches some pretty firey pitchers and the palm guard protects her hand very well. She's right-handed, if you were left-handed it wouldn't do you any good. They don't come in LEFT hand at all. This is the only draw back to this product.
