Overall this glove is very good, a great value for the money. But it advertises as a game ready glove. It arrived harder than I expected and did require some work to break it in.

I simply put the glove on my son and started playing catch. Zero effort to force or manipulate break in. After about a week of playing catch the glove took shape and was game ready. Not one complaint from my son.

This is a very good glove. I have had other mitts (such as the Wilson a2000 & Mizuno MVP) and have thought that they have a softer, more synthetic feel, but this mitt is far more durable and has a more natural leather, and professional feel too it. I would recommend this glove to any player at about the 13-14 or High School level.

Right when I put this glove on I knew it would be great. It is incredibally light weight. After playing catch with it I noticed it did not take any sting away but after focusing in on making a deeper pocket that problem is almost gone

I got this glove last fall on a thursday and played in a tournement on saturday. Very easy to break in just play catch for maybe an hour and its game ready. Ive had this glove for a year now and it still has its shape. Rawlings is a great brand!!
