I bought these to get inexpensive practice balls. They are exactly what I was hoping for. They keep their shape after being whacked. They have the slight bit of softness to give the kids (and coaches) extra confidence to throw hard. I've only used them for one summer of light use, so I don't know how well they hold up over time, but they are fun to play with when they are new.

Bought these balls for our three boys who are just begining T-ball and are 4 & 5 years old. The ball is not you typical RIF (Sponge Ball) yes it is soft but does not bounce like a rubber ball. Have used this ball to teach the boys how to hit and throw. Like the ball for teaching younger kids.
